The Great Rift left Hendrika in ruins, but that wasn't the end of it. The magical fallout from the cataclysm left many areas dangerously steeped in mana radiation, with unpredictable effects. There were rumors of strange creatures appearing in the ruins, beings twisted by the unchecked magic into all manner of forms with unearthly powers.
